2019 FLORIDA TRAINING CAMP
April 14-20, 2019 (Indian Harbour Beach, near Melbourne). Run by Bow Wave / Space Coast DB Clubs.
We are once again (12th year!!) inviting paddlers to this unique Florida training camp to help them kick-start their dragon boat racing season. The camp is none other than Jim Farintosh's Bow Wave / Space Coast training camp that he has run for decades near Melbourne, Florida. Anyone from any team is welcome to join us (Canadian and American), and new paddlers to the sport are welcome. Paddlers should be prepared to work hard and take advantage of this unique opportunity to advance their skills. We have social events planned, including dinners, the local beach, and Cocoa Beach / Kennedy Space Centre. All teams at this camp will be assigned top-level coaches from across North America. New paddlers are very welcome, as are paddlers who are visually impaired.
NOTE: This is not the official website for the camp (if you Googled it an got here). We are just organizing friends as a group to register for the camp. However, anyone is welcome to join our collective group as we plan ahead and share information to make the camp week even better.
2019 camp fees were announced as $420 USD or $480 CAD when part of a group of 10 or more, to which we are adding $20 USD or $25 CAD for our planned group activities at camp. The TOTAL is therefore $440 USD or $505 CAD. If interested, please register ASAP via the red button below.
There is also one optional ADD-ON for you to consider (not a conflict in schedule with the dragon boat practices)...

Note: Please note there are also other options for you if this particular week does not work, and we will help you make the necessary connections to the organizers or teams. This includes options to attend the same camp the week before or the week after the week we are participating.

Latest News (December 1, 2018): We are now 19 weeks away from camp - but who's counting... ;) We have 18 in our two groups (Canadian and American halves). There is still room (and time) for others to join us, All payments are due ASAP. We can accept two more paddlers - is that you!?
