Practices (6): Sundays, 2-3 PM, May 24 / 31, June 7 / 14 / 21 / 28 (arrive 1:30-1:50 PM).
Racing: Wednesday July 1, 2015 (Canada Day) on Toronto's scenic Centre Island

This is the first year for this team formed by Edwin Huang for the Neighbourhood Group. Information and registration events have been held and are planned ahead to complete the formation of the team.
The Neighbourhood Group is a partnership between Central Neighbourhood House and Neighbourhood Link. Neighbourhood Link Support Services is a non-profit support service agency working to help newcomers, youth, unemployed, seniors and others, primarily in the east Toronto community to live independently and with dignity. Since 1975, with the assistance of their staff and over 600 volunteers, they have been helping more than 11,000 people annually. This new dragon boat team is a great addition to their programs, and the Rusty Dragons fully supports it with our own volunteers and management work being done for no cost (as with other teams).

Practices (6):
l Dates: Sundays, 2-3 PM, May 24 / 31, June 7 / 14 / 21 / 28 (arrival 1:30-1:45 PM).
l Location: Balmy Beach Canoe Club (see the Practice Site page).
l Equipment: Paddles and life jackets available for use at the practice site for no cost.
l Objective: Learn how to paddle a dragon boat, practice teamwork, get fitter, and have FUN!
Race Day:
l Date: Wednesday July 1st (Canada Day). Starts at about 8am and ends about 4pm.
l Location: Allan A. Lamport Regatta Course on Toronto's Centre Island (Centre Island ferry).
l Objective: Experience the thrill of racing other crews and having FUN with fellow paddlers,
with family and friends cheering from shore and the grandstands!
Cost: $TBD. Payment options will be identified by Edwin.
Latest News (April 2): The details for this team are now finalized, including the team practices on Sundays from 2-3 PM starting May 24th. The team will be racing at the DDRA Canada Day Regatta where they will be joined by many other recreational teams.
