BANQUET DETAILS...
When: Friday February 12, 2009 - 6:30pm to 11:30pm
Where: Century Palace Chinese Restaurant (398 Ferrier St, Markham - Steeles and Warden area).
Cost: Tickets are $43 (See bottom of page for payment options)
Food: 12-course Chinese dinner is included, and drinks (water/pop) and a glass of Champagne!
Entertainment: Singers, belly dancers, lion dance, martial arts demos, line dance lessons, etc.
Lucky Draws: There will be MANY draws for prizes! Your ticket # is your draw number.
Dress Code: Semi-formal. Anything comfortable to eat/dance in. ...No paddle shoes ;)
Car-pooling: Will be arranged. We will leave down-town area at about 5:15pm.
NOTE: Anyone is welcome to join us at this event. You don't have to have paddled with us before!

This was the first event of the 2010 season, and our fifth year attending. The evening was filled with lots of good food and entertainment. Each Rusty attendee was given a red envelope containing among other things an un-circulated Olympic Loonie commemorating the opening of the Olympics that evening.
Our very own Tino Agostino and Dave Malone were dragged (with big smiles) onto the dance floor for private lessons in Hawaiian Dance. Both Dave and Tino where cheered on by over 500 guests. The pictures are below and yes there are videos as well.
At the end of the evening the lucky draws were held and again this year the Rusty table was lucky! Nancy and Tino Agostino were the winners of a BBQ set. Congratulations Nancy and Tino. Thank you everyone who attended and made the evening a success.
