NOTE: Thanks to the 39 paddlers who completed the online end-of-year survey that we distributed to our 2009 and 2010 members (over 100 of you). We will be getting back to you with results by the end on November.
Our website is about to undergo some MAJOR CHANGES. Stay tuned for the launch of our 6th season of dragon boat racing and social events. We are very excited to start announcing some changes for 2011. See some details below!!

FLORIDA, here we come!
As of Monday November 15th, 2010, we are launching information and registration for our first organized winter training camp in Florida. We've been going to this camp for four years with other clubs and are now doing it for the first time under the Rusty Dragons banner. This is Jim Farintosh's long-running "The Pines Resort" camp.
Click HERE to see the Florida Camp information page and guide, as well as a link to our registration process that is being done through Survey Monkey.
This opportunity is for serious paddlers who want to kick-start their season by joining us in Florida in mid-April.
We are also bringing a team to GWN's Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival in October 2011. Stay tuned for details on that event as well.
And as usual we will have our FUN teams for Canada Day, Christie Lake, and the River Run. And maybe another surprise. Also returning will be our social events such as Horse-back rides, a Chinese New year banquet, and other events. Please stay tuned while we rebuild our site and programs for 2011. The survey results helped shape some of these events.
If you would like to network with other paddlers on and off the water consider joining us for our 6th year in 2011! This initiative is run by veteran dragon boaters Tim MacFarlane and Caroline Goodwin. Half of our paddlers are new and half are experienced. We specialize in making it a fun experience for everyone no matter what your level of experience. We also help other groups form teams by sharing advice on administration, budgets, and helping arrange coaches, practice sites, etc. It is easier than you think!
