We are launching our first event out of the country under the Rusty
Dragons banner.  We  are bringing a team of dragon boat athletes to
this Florida training camp to help them kick-start their season.
The Camp is none other than Jim Farintosh's "The Pines" camp that he has run for many years (with great coaches) near Melbourne Florida in Indian Harbour Beach.  We have been going to this camp for five years and want you to experience it with us.  Anyone from any team is welcome to join us (Civil Dragons, Lively Dragon, Catch-22, RBC, Quick Silver, etc).  Paddlers should be prepared to work hard.

Click HERE for Camp Info Guide.  ** Registration Closed Dec.1, 2010.

The Pines website is: http://www.floridapinesresort.com
We'll be updating this page and the rest of our website soon with much more detail.
For now, the important details for interested paddlers are as follows...

Read over our Information Guide by clicking HERE.
It is in PDF format and you are free to save it to your PC and distribute to any other interested paddlers.  The current version of the guide is "v7 - Feb.15".

Registration and Payment (this is now closed).
Thanks to everyone who registered and paid.  Everyone is now fully registered with us and with Jim Farintosh.  For those who missed this opportunity, we apologize as the actual camp filled to capacity within weeks and we had to close registration.

If you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to contact us as detailed in the Information Guide.

Latest News (Feb.6):  Thanks to those that braved the winter weather last night and joined us at the Crooked Cue. A team update will be sent out this week with points of discussion from last night.  We have booked The Pines rooms needed and determined roommates.  Transportation arrangements are almost complete with most people flying on WestJet flights and one vehicle making the trip.  Please let us know immediately if anything changes with your details.   Jim Farintosh has been sending updates to everyone; remember... NO pop, NO chips and NO fries.   For those who haven't done this camp before note that following the exercises mentioned in Jim's updates is essential to getting the most from this week.  You have invested your vacation time now invest in your body!
